Modular Drinking Water Plants

Modern Drinking water treatment plants -
Transforming raw surface water from dams and rivers into pristine drinking water that is safe for human consumption – represents a triumph of engineering and chemistry. With our innovative design and in-depth technical knowledge, WPCP offers treatment plants which are consistently effective and reliable.Package modules are available in 1,5; 3,0; 15; 25; 50 and 150m³/hr
Treatment plants are available in various capacities from 1,5m³/hr – 600m³/hr.
Plants feature:
- Innovative design using non-corrodible materials.
- Flocculant mixing (velocity coefficients) to suit water quality.
- Upflow sludge blanket or inclined tube settlers.
- Heavy metal e.g. Iron and Manganese removal.
- Dual media filtration including pressure and auto backwash gravity filters.
- Containerised or Skid mounted plants available.
- "Equal Responsibility" service / maintenance contracts are encouraged.
Superior Plant Design
The 50m³/hr drinking water plant (installed for Swaziland Water Services Corporation) shown here, features 2 x DW25 filters and 1 x D/W 60 Inclined Table Settler.
Pressure and Auto Backwash Dual Media Gravity Filters
WPCP manufactures dual media filter units for the efficient separation of suspended and particulate solids. Dual media filtration techniques offer superior filtration capabilities – the high dirt storage capacity of hydroanthrazit and the fine filter quality of silica sand combine to ensure high levels of water purity from a compact and cost-effective unit.
Upflow Sludge Blanket Settlers
Manufactured to exacting specifications from UV stabilised reinforced polyester resin and coated mild steel. Modules are available I 6m³/hr or 15m³/hr units. They feature a 45° cone for easy sludge removal.
Upflow velocity:
1.2m/hr – 1.5m/hrRetention time: +- 1hr
Inclined Tube Settlers Design flow rate:
50m³/hr and 160m³/hr modules available.
